I'm really interested on what Wii can offer us... I can probably think of hundred games and game concepts that can definitely take advantage of the technology behind wii.
... though I the name still sucks. The "Revolution" ain't any better, but "wii" can be confused with that certain pronoun.

wii demos are out! if you're by a target or gamestop you can finally see one--all you have to do is brave the crowds. personally I saw all I need to see right here: www.joystiq.com/2006/11/06/wii-osk-in-action-at-gamestop/my official reaction is a less than stellar "whoop de freakin' do" a rather standard gaming experience with a silly controller that you have to hold funny. I think the game would easily be better played with an analog stick or wheel, either one, because the wii-mote, just looks painful. and so much for analog speed control. my confidence in wii has been steadily falling from fandom, to 'god why?'. nintendo, please launch this system with something that makes the wii-mote look slightly enjoyable. I bet the sony execs have all seen this, and at least half of them have been hospitalized for laughing fits.

Well I've preordered Metal Slug Anthology and Trama Center but probably won't have a wii for another month. The control schemes for Metal Slug look stupid but you can play them with the retro controller anyways or a gamecube hori pad.
