Tip: Hanzo rules! ;D
Hehe, in all seriousness though, I'm not the best at the game so I'm not qualified to give out advice on combos and stuff. I would highly suggest reading some of the FAQ's though as I learnt a lot of decent combos from them when I played the import. I've actually got the PAL version now but haven't had much time to put into it with working on the new version of the site, but once that's done I'll definitely get back into it.
Hope you're enjoying the game anyway!?

the pal version has faster loading then the japanese version but has not text in the endings and sometime there is a glitch when the win quotes show up instead of saying their respective win quote they will say "dummyX" (X meaning number)
Hanzo is awesome ;D my team is hanzo and kyo (always been a kyo fan)
seen the pic of the new site great job kaz

Very cool in your purchase, I've owned this game myself for almost a year now after I imported it from Japan =D but I bought the EU version the other day and I can say it's still an awesome game, especially if you're a Neo fan.
As for tips here's a tidbit for when you want to unlock the bosses in survival mode - Use and abuse Haohmaru's far standing HP! Then abuse it some more! When you knock the first opponent out quickly dash forward to their position and when they start flashing you start firing up his hcb + K and try to hit the incoming character with this powerful unblockable just as they come in. - A great partner for him is Nakoruru who can use her healing ability to stay in the game indefinetily. If Haoh is knocked out you just need to win the match in order to revive him (just try to save him for the bosses) and healing between opponents or right after a team combo (qcf + tag) works well. Abuse her qcf + P (hits low) and dp + P (great AA) as if they were her only moves. If you got a super ready you can try to hit her hcb x 2 + P against some opponents (mainly bosses) as you are completely invincible during the move even though the start-up is practically slow motion.
Also here's a small tidbit on glitches Yuki makes Kage Shishioh (playable King Lion) his bitch thanks to a host of unfair advantages. Several of Yuki's normally reversible attacks (such as the qcb + P lightning fist and the Neo-Geo Ranbu DM) are unaffected by Shishioh's catch all reversal. If you see the lion-o go black, hit him out of it with a lightning fist!
Blocking Characters with parries, such as Ryo's f+LK, Marco's knife parry or Cyber Woo's whole body during his level 3 super, can parry attacks (like Kisarah's level 3 heart or Haohmaru's hcb + K) that are normally unblockable. It doesn't work for most throws however.
And finally, everyone's favorite monkey. Cyber Woo can only be hit out of his level 3 super by killing him outright via guard damage (such as via repeated Raging Storms or the like) which makes that super excellent for stalling. If you opponent is in the corner then the downwards double strike will combo into itself repeatedly making for a good combo if your opponent is foolish enough to still keep trying to attack.
