The converter requires no installation. You simply put the mvs cart on the top end then insert the other end into the AES console. I would strongly recommend getting some type of protective cover for the adaptor though like a sawed off piece of an aes cart. Sometimes people sell those on ebay. Very cool, yeah I did see one on Ebay and wa... you sacrficed a poor AES cart for that? Isn't that very difficult to mod like that? Thanks for the info though, have some karma =D

Welcome to this Forum. Wow, Sweden, we almost have got all nations represented here Thanks =) Neo Geo for life! and all that. We're lucky enough to have a rather new kickass local online store that can get pretty much any game as long as you've got the cash for it. What's it like in the rest of Europe?

from my limited experience, uk buyers either have to import or buy on places like ebay. although kaz is the leviathan when it comes to the sovereignty of knowledge on this subject. i once saw a jap aes with a step-down convertor, all the neccesary leads, one joystick, memory card, kof '95, ss1, and aof1 in a second hand section of gamestation back home for £250. if i wasn't a piss poor student, i would've snapped it up like a shot, but from what i've seen some "newer" aes carts especially garou and metal slug 3 cost an absolute fortune.

There was also a see through plastic shield someone sold on ebay once but I think it was one of a kind and only that guy made it. I was unable to get it myself. Thanks for the karma ;D

Just a quick update here on my page with my current list of games (no particular order):
Art of Fighting 1 Magician Lord Riding Hero Ninja Commando Mutation Nation Galaxy Fight Karnov's Revenge / Fighter's History Dynamite World Heroes 2 World Heroes 2 Jet Samurai Spirits 1 Samurai Spirits 2 Samurai Spirits 3
I plan to collect the remaining SS and WH games too given enough time and cash, as for AOF I must admit that as much as I like the characters I never really liked the series beyond the first game which is more nostalgic than it is actually good. Being a fighting game fanatic I need at least one KOF in there too at one point or another. Planning something big when I get my money this month too.
Take care you all oh and love that new gif of yours Raiken.

You have SS2... that is all that is needed really! ;D Kidding aside, that's the one Neo game I could never do without (it's hard to pick though). You have a good collection building up anyway, congrats Kaz

Thanks Kazuya, maybe we should add a section for "your collection" here on the site so we can see what kind of games the other users have? Anyway, for the "something big" I mentioned earlier, while I picked up a cheap EU copy of the original World Heroes and sent my Neo in for maintainance (it is now rewired, cleaned inside out and doesn't glitch like it used to) I also ordered a fresh copy of Samurai Spirits 5 Special (fixed w. fatalities) complete english version!
I can say that playing this game with a real old-style stick is lightyears ahead of any crappy PC pad on an EMU. As much as I love the game however I must inform you all that even the "fixed" version of the game is somewhat censored. I am almost done putting together a document with all the changes in it and I'll post it somewhere here soon if anyone is interested.
Peace out

Updated list of games, just for the heck of it.
Art of Fighting 1 Art of Fighting 2 Magician Lord Riding Hero Ninja Commando Mutation Nation Galaxy Fight Karnov's Revenge / Fighter's History Dynamite World Heroes 1 World Heroes 2 World Heroes 2 Jet Samurai Spirits 1 Samurai Spirits 2 Samurai Spirits 3 Samurai Spirits 5 Special (fixed)
Next I plan to buy the old classic Fatal Fury Special, and after that it's going to be another "big" one; most likely Matrimelee (I heard the PS2 version is actually worse than the original)

Oh and as always I gotta love those avatars of yours Raiken. Rimmy forever man! Very nice choice of games there. I picked up FF Special myself and it's one hell of a fighting game. The extra characters alone make it worth picking up over FF2. Do you think it would be worth picking up real bout if I already had just the normal special? I've heard they are similar but that Real Bout is the superior game. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for neo turf masters? I've been wanting that game for years, but the prices most ebay sellers put on it have always scared me away. Oh, and Sweden is a great place by the way. I went there last summer basically for free since my dad was on a business trip. (with a company called UVA if you've ever heard of it) I had a lot of fun, but holy hell, some of the prices on things over there are ridiculous (especially gas). I would be starving within a month or two with the prices on food that I saw in the bigger cities! Although I do suppose the exchange rate might make it seem more expensive than it really is. ;D
