I really enjoyed the movie Serenity, but have only recently got round to watching the Firefly TV series on DVD... and I'm hooked.

Are there any browncoats out there?

It just sucks that it joins the likes of Futurama and (initially) Family Guy as another show cancelled by Fox before its time (before it took off on dvd i guess). If anyone hasn't seen it I'd definately recommended it. I'm not a sci-fi fan but the show feels more like a western with its frontier-like setting and cast of likeable antiheroes, not to mention its snappy dialogue and one-liners.

A quick poll. Does anyone else think that Kaylee (Ship's mechanic) is hot? ;D

Not actually seen it to tell you the truth, but yeah, yet another series that was hit by the curse of Fox.

Checked out the girl you mentioned though, and I must concur, she is indeed hot!

Anyways, I must recommend anyone who hasn't seen either the film or series to check it out. I guess if Fox cancels a show, it's probably worth checking out!

I just hope that Fox doesn't go and cancel Prison Break as well. That show's great too.
