Father Ted is hillarious and really well written aswell, It's just a shame that Dermot (the chap who played Ted) died the day after series 3 filming ended  It wouldn't of been the same without him so I suppose it was right to stop... The ' All Preists over 75 indoor football competition v's Rugged island' LOL it just creases me every time... Anyone else like Ted?? |

Would you like a cup of tea father? Go on go on go on! LOL Ted is classic, as you say it is a shame that he died, but at least he left an amazingly funny series as his legacy. That episode you said, that was the one where they had Father Jack in the remote controlled wheelchair right? That was great, but I think my two favourites are the one where Ted gets accused of being racist (I think I'm remembering this right, has been a long time since I saw it), where the Chinese family come over and he is standing in the window with the German outfit on, and that speck of dirt on the window makes it look like he has a hitler moustache... then he starts doing a Nazi type wave without realising... that was hilarious! Then there was the one where the priests all get trapped in the lingerie department in the store, that one killed me! With Jack in the wheelchair? Yes that's the one mate, Ted has fake arms aswell LOL... The one where Ted is accused of being racist is also funny as hell, the bit with the dirt on the window is just sheer laughter LOL "The chinese, a great bunch of Lads" remember the Slide show??  The lingerie one is the christmas special when Ted gets nominated for a Golden Cleric Award, in his acceptance speech he gets to the point when he's finished thanking people and gets to the "people who've really fecked me off over the years" section....LOL I love Father Ted, definately in my top 3 of all time, the others are Only Fools and Blackadder and Red Dwarf (thats 4 isn't it!!)......  Cheers for the eurovision songs matey, I think I'm gonna watch em now!! |

funny how things change, when the first series was shown i really hated it, but then i started to watch it again and found it hilarious, i loved when graham norton was in it too and the richard wilson episode.. pure class
