This was one of my first animes and I have a huge place for it in my top 10 list. It was just one of those epic movies (2 different movies) that I think you appreciate even more when you think about when it was made.
My aunt knew what "Japanimation" was in 1990 and she knew we liked it. She worked part time at a video-rental store and gave a "not for resale"/"for promotion only" copy of the first 2 movies to my brother and I for Christmas. We got alot of great stuff like this and totally think our Aunt Marge is the coolest for keeping the anime flame going after Akira!
