The anime series that is going to dig deeper into the Blood: The Last Vampire universe, is finally here. The movie was rather impressive, but left a lot to be desired when it came to story and characterisation. I'm interested to see if the series can come up trumps here. With 52 episodes planned, it should.

Holy shit - funnily enough I watched Blood again recently, and as with every time I have ever seen it I have always wanted much more from it! I had no idea a series was on the way, but I'm definitely gonna be checking it out tonight if torrents are already around! Thanks for the heads up man!!!

Any idea if this is based on the manga? I haven't seen anything of that at all, but I heard it was set quite a few years after the movie.
