My favorite Manga Artist of all time. I''ve read all of his major works, and he is by far imho the greatest manga artist ever.
My favorite works he's done are :

Unfortuneatly I have only seen the movie version of Metropolis. I found it to be an amazing film.

greatest manga artist ever.... well, HE IS the FATHER of Manga/Anime.. , but i wouldn't consider hime GREATEST, but he certainly is a pioneer in the industry... hehe, one of my fave anime is Astroboy... so, tezuka rocks, plus i watch kimba as a kid... and yes, the Metropolis featurfilm was great  |

metropolis is good, but i wasn't too keen on it for the opening 45 minutes or so the first time i saw it since it seemed a little too much like albert uderzo, trying to interpret katsuhiro otomo. after that however, the film turns utterly magnificent, which is funny since in a lot of films its the other way round.
as for tezuka in general, he is a pioneer, but has been eclipsed by other artists in my opinion.
