there was an on going debate about which one was the best, i reckon dragonball - was just off the hook, dragonballZ- was the best amongst the rest remember frieza back on namek, and goku going super saiyan for the first time. then gohan beat cell with the strongest kamehameha wave we had ever seen. and who can forget majinBuu dragonball GT - good, problem is the powers are now way beyond imagination its outrageous, back in DBZ, we were moved when goku reached 100 000, against ginyu, then he got supersaiyan. but in GT, super saiyan 4 is apower beyond the charts limit, and the dragon guy is also too strong and that just takes the funout of everything cause goku keeps getting stronger.

Best Dragonball Z? The credits bit... you know, where you realise that it's all over and the suffering can stop Nah just kidding man... but I have only seen DBZ and brief glimpses of DBGT. I never saw any of DB, although from what people say the general feeling is that DB was the best of them all. I can't really comment though. Kaz

the best is DBZ. i dont like GT coz of an idea of turning old man Guko into a kid sucks. i dont understand the ending in GT. Did he realy die?

Did he realy die? he does not really die, i think they are doing it so so that in case akira toriyama decides to continue with the story then, or someone decides to, it becomes possible to resurrect goku, again.

DB is for sure the best imo. DBZ is good but it lacks the flow that DB had storyline wise and it ended being more about who had the huger power level. GT continues something that should have really ended although it does have a better flow between episdoes then DBZ imo.

DB was the most fun to watch. DBZ is nice, but kinda dragging and emphasizes more on "fireworks" (this is how i refer to their powers, like kame-hame-wave... just pretty fireworks...). DBGT lacks Toriyama story-telling (GT storyline was made by toei to further profit from the series since DB ended in DBZ supposedly)

my opinions,. DB - good start, the characters were good, teh story was good, over all a good anime... the artstyle/animation is also good imo (over DBZ), cuz Toriyama's manga style is shown here... DBZ - DB on Steroids, i actually hate the Z series, it's the most popular, and also the longest (afaik), the story is great but aesthetically, it's a bit mediocre, since DBZ was popular in japan back in the day, it was the most demanded, meaning, they needed to make more episodes, meaning, the work is a bit rushed... and it shows, with unrefined drawings, sloppy animation and poor story sequencing... but, DBZ did have it's moments... DBGT - Aesthetically, the best, and interestingly enough, the story surprised me to say the least, but i felt the Goku being alive, again, is like fanservice, a bit stupid imo... i expected early on that the story will focus on Gohan and his family, but then, AGAIN, Goku enterd teh scene, decided to get young,.. the only good part was we get to relive young annoying Son Goku... the animation is more refined now, and the "Toriyama" drawing style is perfected (also seen on the Dragon Warrior games and Chrono trigger)... over all, my favorite series, yet sadly, this one was the most underated and forgotten, mainly becuz DragonBallFever had ended during GT's time...
