The return of SC is almost here (Jan 22). Any thoughts on what might go on during the last 9 episodes or how the series has progressed so far?

Besides Cowboy Bebop this is easily my fav. anime series yet. (i may even end up liking it more depending on the last 9 episodes)
I love the art style, music, dialouge and direction of the series. With the exception of a few episodes i think it has been excellent so far.
I'm really anticipating an amazing finale, or atleast i hope their is one.

We'll no doubt see some kickass sword fights and probably more of Jin vs Mugen.

The Jin vs Mugen face-off, and finally revealing who is that sunflowersmell samurai. The story will probably focus more on Fuu because of that?

I really think the sunflower samurai is Fuu's father.

SC hits the streets here on Jan 11. Suncoast has regular and art box packages for the dvd for $19.99 the first several days of it's release.

Looks pretty nice. Then again it depends on if you are bothered about having a nice box to display it in Kaz

They apparently throw in some stupid bandana too. More pointless crap to add to my collection.

Finished watching volume 1 and the quality rocked They threw in some jap promos and textless animations on the dvd. Shame it'll take forever between dvd releases though.

I highly recommend this anime. Whatever they charge is going to be totally worth it. The ending is lacking though. If you can't wait, and you must know, you can email me for it. It regards the sunflower samurai. But if you liked Cowboy Bebop, which had a pretty loose ending, I'm pretty sure the ending of Samurai Champloo won't plague you too much. What sucks is that the good ones end at all . Anyway, buy it.

I heard some things regarding the actual ending of the series... It's highly possible that the rumors are false but (possible spoiler), I heard that Fuu never finds the sunflower samurai... Still, now we have even more reason to watch, to see if I'm right. I'm doubting it more and more though, as I can't seem to find corraborating information elsewhere.
That's kind of watanabe's style though: kind of sparse story, but the real substance is in the depth and detail of characters.
