  Most depressing shit ever? I'm a total sucker for these kinds of drama animes. (Lots of strong feelings.  It's about Shuuji and Chise, both in High School. One day Chise confesses to Shuuji, they go straight but both are them are very shy about their relationship. It seems peaceful and all but the world they're living in is full of war and disasters. One day, their town gets bombed. (air raided) While desperately escaping from the air raid, Shuuji saw a scene that he could not forget for his life. He saw Chise, with a huge weapon which looks is part of her hand, shot the enemy fighters one by one. Apparently, Chise is the ultimate weapon with destructive power which is important for the war.  13 episodes full of drama, romance, and many characters die in this anime. Heck, there was a warning like this @ episode 10 :  I recommend it to you all, except for the people with a bad heart. A beautiful anime, almost as great as Grave Of The Fireflies. |

Too depressing for me. I read the 1st volume of the manga and can't bring myself to read the next one. The concept is quite original but it is not for everyone.

a friend of mine likes this anime and forces me to watch it... but i still dont like it... im not into mech/robots that much

There's only like, 30 secs of mech in each episode, so you will like it. ;p

I started liking melo-drama's after watching some GOOD drama (tear jerkin, heartwrenchin, that-just-took-my-breath-away drama) Oh and watching alot of Korean comedy/drama's and Japanese drama series. Those 2 cuz I dig the asian chicks too. ;D

this anime loox kool and stuff cuz like dramatic animes r like my third fav. I think i'll go to some anime shop in manhattan or something and start reading the back cover of a dvd or if they got a manga(which i think they will) i'll start reading it in the store or something.
