I'm not the biggest anime heavyweight & these are the only ones i've seen so if you have your fav. is one i didn't list please provide feedback.
I chose Golden Boy, though just all the shows i put up there i think are funny (tenchi muyo is a semi comedy) it consistenly makes me laugh. My second would be Puni Puni Poemi, very crazy but funny as hell stuff, pokes fun at anime stereotypes.

I picked Tenchi cos that's the only one I have seen out of the list, and I do love that series to pieces. ;D I was thinking about picking "other" though... anyone ever seen Project A-Ko at all? I know it's an oldie, but it's a classic... very funny imho, the only disappointing thing is that I don't think there are any DVD's of it available  . We wasted way too much of my time as kids watching that series over and over again. Dominion Tank Police would be another one actually, because that is also hilarious at times. Actually shit... The Golden Boy's pretty good, when you see it for the first time, but GTO's way better.  Really good stuff that GTO.  Onizuka smashing the wall with a hammer + the great music, it gave me chills down my spine. |
