Anyone else seen this? Wow, this is one tragic anime. I'll try to not spoil anything more than this, but I gotta post this :
*UPDATED THE SUMMARIES*
Ep 1 review in a nut shell: Girl tells guy she loves him... asks to date. Guy says okay out of sympathy. A hard first few days... He comes to realize he likes her too. They become much more stable. *kiss scene* The end.
Ep 2 review in a nut shell: Guy and girl get very very close. *bed scene*. One day, she is waiting at station to go on date. He (on his way to her) meets other friend who's b-day is today... so he goes with her to get present really fast. He does so then makes it to Station.. only to find an accident has happened... he runs to area... terrified... calling her name, he makes his way through the crowd. He runs to yellow caution tape in time to hear the cop over the radio naming the accident victim... His Girlfriend was run over by a car and rammed into a phone booth at the exact time he bought the present for the friend. The end.
Extremely depressing. It was all happy and funny at times in ep 1 & 2, but the end of ep 2 was like WHAM, suddenly she got caught in an accident. I was expecting a Love Hina-type of anime. LOL

I'm really not into love stories too (hated Love Hina, to be honest), but this one's really good. It's more a drama, with a little bit romance in it. It's actually all about, how hard life can be + relationships. Here's a description I found on the web : "Narumi Takayuki is a third year high school student, who doesn't study very much for the college entrance exams. However, he is wasting his days neither studying nor being able to find anything else interesting to do. His friends Taira Shinji and Hayase Mizuki are both busy with studying and swimming, so Takayuki is left feeling very alone. Until one day, when he meets a girl..."  The main character (Narumi Takayuki)  The girls (Hayase Mizuki and Suzumiya Haruka, Haruka is the one who falls in love with Narumi) After ep 2, time goes 3 years later, with Mizuki falling in love with Narumi, >  but they keep remembering the car accident with Haruka. Really tragic things going on in that relationship.  So after ep 2, that's where the real story begins. It's got 14 episodes in total, but I haven't seen them all yet. The story is great, imagine this : you're a student (Narumi), and you met a girl at your school, through a good (female) friend of yours. you don't really like her, but she likes you alot, you start to like her more and more, and suddenly she got caught in a car accident. You go crazy about this and turn into a bum, but that good female friend, has always had a crush on you... I'd recommend this anime to every one looking for an anime with a good story. So if you can find it in any way possible, get it. I'm hooked, and bound to get more. ;D |

You thought the art is childish...but secretly you're playing on your Nintendo GameCube or such. *which is childish too* Either way i'm just kidding.  The "childish" art doesn't really mind me, the story is very solid, and has alot of dramatic moments. Like in the later episodes, life is screwed up and Mizuki screwing other men etc etc... |

uh, ok, (lol, i wont even dare touch a NGC, but i have a GBA!)
well these stories do not appeal to me that much (unless it is set in feudal japan era!)... but i would love to see these type of anime's into Live Action series (with j-idols and such! ;D)
