Just saw the latest Bond flick and have to say I'm very impressed. The final parts of the movie seemed a little long winded but I enjoyed it a lot. The intro theme is especially cool.

I will watch it eventually but like the last few generations of Bond Films I expect it to be crap. The fact that its a remake of what was pretty damn good movie in its day sure doesnt make it anymore appealing to those who fondly remember the origional , I dont think it does anyway ?

For Bond films, I like the old ones starring Sean Connery. All movies after that didn't appeal me much. I wanna check this out one of these days hoping it will be good.

It's a different kind of bond flick considering it's when he first began and the book it's based on doesn't use to much gadgetry.

I really like Daniel Craig since I loved Layer Cake (the London gangster flick he was in). I sort of liked the idea of him being Bond, but when I thought of the other people they could have got I thought they made a bad choice. Having read many reviews though, and also heard the opinions of a few people that have seen it (who I trust), I might just change my mind. I've heard practically nothing bad said about it, so I'm really looking forward to seeing it now. I still think Connery is easily the best Bond, with Brosnan being second. I have heard a few people say Daniel Craig is at least close to Connery in this film... I'll believe that when I see it though. The theme tune fucking rocks... then again I am a big fan of Chris Cornell! Kaz

And as far as I am concerned Chris Cornell has one of the top five voices in rock, definitely a great choice for this song. It's getting better with each listen too! Kaz

My mom refuses to watch this film because Daniel Craig isn't attractive enough for her.
It really shows how alot of people will go see a movie just because of some hot actors over substance.
I do that sometimes too... but, porn is different ;D

At least *FOR ONCE* a movie company decided to go back and remake a bad movie instead of a classic. It's not really a remake though, more a completely different movie with the same name designed to overwrite the world's memory of the 1960's casino royale, and probably the 1950's TV series too. I wonder if it follows the novel.
I do like david niven movies, but the 1960's casino royal...well, I still don't exactly know what happened in that movie.
