Looks good Kaz !
I had no clue you even had a forum until I read it in one of your posts today at NG.com
As Ive said in the past though , you have the best Neo reviews on the net , and Ive been coming to your site for those for sometime now ;D
On topic ,there are a few thousand registered members over at NG that never post aswell.
This seems to be a common issue on most boards I think.

Thanks for the Welcome ! Ive been a regular over at www.neo-geo.com for a little over a year now. Ive been into the Neo since its launch , and bought a gold system AES back in 1990. I sold it in 1993/94 in favor of MVS { gotta have that cabinet feel } and have owned upwards of 120 to 150 arcade machines at any given time over the years , now Im down to about 8 of them and a slough of Jamma PCB'S. My older Brother was an arcade/route/private sales operator for over 15 years ,so when he still had his shop I was a collecting nut. Now I just play instead of collect ,mostly on individuall PCB'S these days ,or on my Neo or PlayStation cabinet which can be seen on my home page if anyone has any interest in that stuff ?

Very cool candycab, I just got my 4-slot cab a couple of days ago and am currently in a heated argument with the seller...the monitor is burned really bad and he told me the thing was perfect...damned salesmen.

hahaha Seiryu
I think I'd probably have it easier in the netherlands...if I stare at something for too long in a store over here they'll call the police and I'd get a beat down...then they'd take my wallet.

hey candycab, are you in the states? and if so do you have any more candy cabs you may be willing to part with? I'm desperately looking for one as the 4-slot I just bought is gonna involve a lot of elbow grease and I'd rather just get a CC in decent condition. If not do you know where I might find one for a reasonable price?

I'm desperately looking for one as the 4-slot I just bought is gonna involve a lot of elbow grease and I'd rather just get a CC in decent condition. If not do you know where I might find one for a reasonable price? I live in California just south of the San Francisco Bay Area , I got my candy from Jeff Tao of www.arcade-infinity.com They come very highly reccamended from my own experiences dealing with them numerous times over the last few years. mine was $285.00 [ no motherboard ] and weighs 82 ponuds . At the moment Im considering a Type 2 candy , so I can get into the Hyper 64 in a dedicated cabinet ,and needless to say the cabinet will be bought from Jeff. They are located in Industry California { its basically a Los Angeles suburb ] My cab neede a decent scrubbing when I got it but it was in top working order with very few dents. A word of warning though if you are in the U.K./Europe they are very costly to ship. I recently made a few calls for a member of the NG.com forum and for the space a 29' candy takes it was just over $2000.00 to Germany standard air freight But if you get a smaller one like mine I would guess it would be much less to ship since its a pretty small cabinet and they ship bye size instead of wieght. If you have the means to import one it may be costly but it would be well worth in in my opinion. If I missed anything or you guys have any other questions shoot me a PM or post it somewhere and I will gladly respond. Also to the best of my knowledge arcade infinity is the only actuall importer of candy's in the US , so they are about your only option besides finding a private seller.

yea, I'm Just outside of Washington D.C In Manassas, Virginia. I'll look into a CC, its definately a better conversation piece than the cab I have in my basement. If I have anymore questions (I probably will) I'll let you know. Thanks buddy!

We've had this forum for about 2-3 months now, and it is a lot better than the old one It is good to see you over here anyway! It's been a while since we talked, think it was over at #neo-geo right? to buddhakun: Yeah, there are 70+ members here at the moment, but I think a lot of people do sign up and either post once or twice, or just never post at all. I think I have signed up for forums myself and never really posted on them much... I guess it's just one of those things really. I'm glad that we have a few regular posters that keep coming back to post though, you guys are cool Kaz
