As you may have noticed, things look a little different now due to the upgrade the forum has gone through. There's a lot of new options and changes, but as with any upgrade, there are a few minor conflicts. Some of our old codes (like the smiley one) are not working correctly at the moment, but over the weekend I will be working to correct them. If you spot any kind of bugs around here, please post about them and I will be sure to find out what is causing them, and get them fixed asap! I'll most likely be working on fixing stuff this coming Sunday, so hopefully until then there won't be any major bugs that will cause us massive problems  Kaz |

The image in my sig isn't either for some reason Yeah the old code for custom mod images has broken, obviously not compatible with PBV4... so I'll have to find a replacement, which I should be able to do  As for the avatar, for some reason it has disappeared from your profile (I just checked). Re-enter the URL and it should be ok Kaz |

Dunno why but everytime I input the url and correct size for the images it doesn't work and the field is blank when I go back to my profile page. I've set mozilla to accept the cookies for this site but it just refuses to use my avatar/sig images. Although the coding for the sig doesn't vanish it simply doesn't work.

I just tried entering the URL for the avatar toy have on the site and it seems to be working... however it might be possible that something is conflicting somewhere, like one of the codes we used to use or something. If not, then maybe it is a glitch on proboards itself, if so I'll report it on their support forum. That av I entered seems to be working though... might sound dumb, but try entering a different URL for your avatar... rename the pic or something and enter the new URL. I'm off to bed now anyways, will have another look here when I come online tomorrow before work Kaz |

I renamed the pics but that didn't work either. Although every other image I tried worked so I guess I can't use my M.U.S.H.A. stuff for awhile. Oh well I was planning on changing to Lei Lei from Darkstalkers soon anyway. My copy of the DS collection just shipped today! |

God knows why they image isn't working, that's very weird. Can you give the me the URL for image so I can have a look? Btw, for the bug report, consider yourself exalted! (see the karma thing on everyones mini profiles. Dunno whether I will keep this on or not Kaz |

On the main index, the dates on the right hand side stubbornly stay in American format.
I've tried to set it to dd.mm.yy or similar in my profile. The choices in the profile are not very sensible.

last night, when i was moving around the boards i encountered a page that says "too many connections...". it happened to me a few times while i was going board to board. whenever i encounter the page, i have to click 'back' then try going to that board again. i was able to get through when after going 'back' then clicking the page link again but after a while, whenever i go around like 'home' or some topic, it takes too long to load the page that it times out. never had that problem before while browsing around here. another bug i assume  |

When im not signed in i can not see anybodys avs, just the caption underneath but when i sign in they appear!

I'll have a look at the date thing... which choices in the profile do you mean? Notify has changed to a new "bookmarks" system... you bookmark threads that you like and can choose to be notified my either PM or email when someone posts in that thread I think... I need to look that feature up! Again, I'll look that one up... sorry about the emails if you don't want them! Yeah BMP is probably not the best thing to use. Btw crag mentioned a weird thing that is happening... your sig pic sometimes disappears and gets replaced by " ![]() ", but then you refresh and it comes back. Another thing I'll need to look at... lol. Not actually a bug, it's just that with all tyhe interest in this new proboards LOADS of people have been hammering the servers, especially last night. It seems to have died down a bit though, and I've not had it happen to me today, it's actually been pretty fast. Yeah I think that *might* be a new feature they added, saves bandwidth on people who just lurk and never post here Anyways, I don't have time tonight, but tomorrow I'll be looking at these problems and fixing a few other things that aren't quite right. If anyone else notices anything untoward, let me know and I'll make sure it gets sorted out! Kaz |
