Anyone has this game yet? To those interested, this is how awesome the game is: Totally badass! The games hilarious! It's probably one of the best beat-em-ups I've played in a long time, and it's obvious that Fist of the North Star influenced this game. beat-em-up mainstays like the muscley guy, the fat guy, the dominatrix chicks, the flamboyant homoosexual, and a whole bunch of punks are all here! Notice my overuse of '!' mark! ;D This is why I've enjoyed beat-em-up games as a kid

So, i watched my friend play this game for 2 hours. I felt so much nostalgia from the final fight and streets of rage beat em up days that it was great. There's alot of good comedy to be found in the game as well, through alot of spoofing and funny music. It almost felt weird to be laughing at stuff that the game creators intended me to.
Even considering all the things about it i liked, i didn't really want to play it though. I think beat em up games just don't appeal to me anymore.

There is a full Video review here along with other media clips for the game. www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=2689They pretty much trashed the game calling the gameplay stale... I usually agree with most of their reviews but I will still grab this game as Im always down for a new beat em up game ... Hell I still enjoy Robo Army now and again Cant really get more Vanilla than Robo Army Now if only someone would repop Streets of Rage without screwing it up in 3D I would be pretty happy.

Those crap reviews are actually what's been pissing off a lot of people right now (including me). IGN's review is the most hated since the reviews states that the 3rd-person camera view makes it hard to see the enemy (which is actually the damn opposite. We love the camera angle used as it's just perfect for this kind of game) and it's button mash fest (button mashing? it's like calling a Tekken or Virtua Fighter game button masher). It's as if those fuckers likes beat-em-ups to control like Grand Theft Auto or Devil May Cry ALL the time (but those controls can never work in this game. Too bad everyone else who played the game finds it to be one of the most damn awesome badass beat-en-up since the classics Pardon my rant but if something as awesome as this is given inaccurate reviews (like hundreds of other underappreciated games IGN put down due to their mainstream perspective of gaming) it just makes me loathe popular gaming websites more (and trust reader reviews even more).

Beat em up games always get boned when it comes to reviews ,its like the reviewers forget the whole point of these games ... They arent supposed to be any sort of deep gaming experience , just fun as hell to play while they last. Simplicity rules above all else

That this game doesn't take itself too seriously looks like it's biggest strongpoint imo (in a time when too many games take themselves waaay too seriously!). Well, if it doesn't become that popular, it least it will be quite cheap soon. It's definately a game to check out. I could not stop laughing during that trailer - and that crotch punch thing looks nasty! ;D
