Never played Hokuto No Ken before this thread. Just played it and it's pretty cool, although obviously unfinished but it works really well with controllers. Cheers for the link Zat.
Is this a fan-made game or a professional release? If it's the former, then they've done a damn fine job so far. There seems to be quite a few decent freeware beat-em-ups going round at the mo, like Little Fighter 2 (fun multiplayer) and Dogma (featuring Japanese schoolgirls hitting each other with frying pans!)

And perhaps a passion for neo as well. Gotta like the 4-button controls! ;D
Does anyone remember the Konami Fist of the North Star Fighting Mania game where you had to punch the pads that popped out in front of you? (kinda like a martial arts bemani) That's pretty cool as well but gave me severe arm cramps from the 50 punches move!
I wonder if the new FOTNS atomiswave game is any good?

I wonder if the new FOTNS atomiswave game is any good? One of my friends is dying for the ps2 port to come out but i haven't even seen much coverage of the game. I'm not even sure if it is officially out yet. |

I watched a bunch of vids. and it looks quite good. I'll be anticipating a ps2 release considering i'll never get a chance to play the arcade version I wish the folks who make GG would make some fighters of other anime games. Bandai seems to be the law. |

Just tried it (yeah it took me a bit). Really good game. Teh parry system is pretty cool, with mid-airs as well. Great job.
