The buttons one the controller have been repositioned though. Black and white buttons transformed into shoulder buttons, and also a different positioning for the start and back button. But about the console itself... looks like some kind of dvd player. A total change in style from the current Xbox. It's as if Microsoft is heading towards a media center pc.

It looks like a friggin kettle in that pic  Yeah saw the initial batch of pics last week, although it looked better in those than it does there. Not liking the design even a little bit so far, but I'd probably buy one if there were any games I was interested in. Kaz |

It doesnt look too bad actually...looks very much alike a PC tower though which is what they are going for i think

Oh btw, these aren't from E3... seeing as E3 hasn't even happened yet  But anyway, PC tower, kettle, toaster... however ridiculous it looks I'll buy one for sure if there are some good games on it. It's looking like there's a few I'll be interested in anyway  It will bomb in Japan though. Kaz |

C'mon it doesn't look too bad. It's amazing the dimensions of the XBOX 360 is much smaller than its predecessor. I'm not sure about the weight, but should be lighter.
I look foward the release of this system in November. I heard big companies like SQUARE/ENIX and NAMCO have projects already signed with it.
But as usual I'm a loyal SONY fan. Even though I hear lots of ppl complaining about PS3 being for the masses of naive owners, the variety of titles doesn't say that to me.
I'll be anxiously awaiting news for the PS3.
