All right, I love the fighters on the Neo and so I've been playing them on my keyboard for some time. I invested in a cheap controller by the name of GGE909 PC Recoil Pad, and it's pretty unresponsive, my keyboard outdoes it by a long shot.
So, as the topic says, recommend me a controller and/or arcade stick. And please don't say the X-Arcade. I'd like something like that, but I'm not paying close to a $100 for something like that. I'm looking for something around $20-30 range personally. Or should I just wait until most of the SNK lineup is eventually ported to the Wii?

$20-30 range... I don't have much knowledge in terms of PC controllers but there's this adapter I use to connect Playstation controllers to my PC. I think I just bought it for under $20 in RadioShack so it should be pretty much available in most radioshack branches. I'd tell you the name of the thing if I can find it in my room, but yeah it's pretty responsive for something cheap.

Ive been using a standard Xbox 360 controller for PC games,I havent used it for any digital games but works great for analog stuff and its a pretty solid buy at $35 to $40.00.
The older USB or non USB Microsoft Sidewinder pads are great for anything non analog. I liked the design on them quite a bit, plenty of buttons a decent D-Pad and very sturdy yet very lite, they are probably a dime a dozen these days too.
As for an arcade style controller for under $100.00 Good luck on that one.
You could always buy parts from Happ Controlls or Bob Roberts and build youre own, its stupid easy and a fun project to tinker with.

The Xbox 360 controller works well for pc games as it has all the necessary software support and drivers for it available - as to how well the d-pad works is down to personal opinion. It's far from the best (anyone who's played SF2 on Xbox Live will probably agree) - but there's far worse out there such as low-end 3rd party PC joypads.
I've used both 360 controllers and ps2 controllers via a usb adaptor which has worked well for emu. Of course - with PS2 adapters (which also support PSOne gear), not only are control pads supported but also arcade joysticks made for the Ps2 such as those made by hori or even the PsOne Namco arcade stick. I've not tried one on emu though I'd expect them to work quite well.
