Like wtf? Just found out about this new version, but the file size is different to normal mame 32 . I quickly looked through the readme and noticed it said it had a new GUI, but surely it has more new than that. So in short, whats so new about it? Download.com/mame extra |

I'll give it a shot, I would think it would be capable of playing Dead Or Alive, the Tekkens, and Rival Schools fairly well and without slowdown.

All right, I'm trying to get Dead Or Alive (first game) plus plus rom, which according to this version of MAME is the only correctly working Rom. And I downloaded this rom from two different sites, and apparently it's missing a file or something (It's hard to tell exactly, as the program loads and closes so quickly I can't even make out what file is missing exactly).
I'll try again later.

Turns out I had to download a Bios file (Why, oh why don't these websites simply include with the rom file and/or make a little note that this rom needs this Bios file) It runs all right, I believe the fault lies with my computer. Every 3D fighter I have on it runs slowly.

I'm going to hold onto this file for now, strangely I think that the older version of MAME runs slightly faster then this one.
Question: I'm using Mortal Kombat REV 5.0 ROM and it STILL plays slowly (The only 2D fighter that has this problem) does it play slowly for everyone else, or is it just my machine it self?

it wasn't removed. search "extra mame" in the site. i'm downloading it right now, so i hope some of the incompatible games become compatible with this one.
