Yes, but I don´t want to get furhter and further away from the NG, while playing Games that have their Roots in the NG!! NG rocks!!! Very true, but in the case of something like MotW which is probably pushing the system to its limit, it would be better to see a sequel on a more powerful system so that we can see an improved game... instead of a game that just has a few extra characters and stages and not much else (see KoF for the past few years ). Yeah, you´re right and it´ll sure happen soon! That makes me kinda sad, but for the Game´s sake, it shall be done!! ;D

If they do release other titles on next gen consoles instead of the neogeo or even release new hardware. I'd be really suprised. Seeing the new line up of games they released on MVS/AES lately.

Yeah, but if we want to see a KoF with cooler Graphics, we will have to accept that the NeoGeo won´t be able to give us that! I personally hope they will use the PS2!!! Although DC would be better, but this is very unlikely! Maybe they develop a next gen NG!!! This would really rock!!

No way, the ps2 is no 2d machine. The port overs are fine but they don't match up to the neogeo versions, not by a long shot.

Sure, the feel of the games is way better on the Neo Geo (and I always prefer playing the originals compared to any ports), but the PS2 ports have all been pretty damn good. I'd say that some were better than most of the DC ports in fact. KOF 2000 looks better on the PS2 than it does on the DC imho, and KOF 2001 has a lot of extra stuff that the DC one didn't have, and Metal Slug 3 was damn good too. Also, if the games were specifically made for the PS2 instead of being ported over, they would have the potential of being very good. PS2 might be seen as a 3D machine, but I've seen no real evidence to suggest that it can't do 2D pretty damn well too... look at Guilty Gear X as an example. Anyways - I'm not necessarily saying I'd want to see them move over to just the PS2, but imo it wouldn't be as bad as a lot of people might think Kaz

I agree. The ps2 ports aren't all that bad despite losing some of the neogeo feel IMO.
