In the majority of cases online petitions dont mean anything and no companies take any notice of this sort of thing, although occasionally there are exceptions. I actually ran a petition a while ago which was to do with the PAL 60hz thing on PS2 games, which got THOUSANDS of signatures from pissed off PAL users. We actually got some really good (and some not so good) responses from certain companies, and one of the guys from Sony was quite helpful.
In that sort of case a petition can help, but when it comes to ones like "Please make another game for me", I don't think companies really listen. Hell, I'll still sign petitions like this if I agree with them, but I don't think it does much good at the end of the day. Playmore is a business, if they think making another FF game will earn them money, they will do it... just give them time, as right now they are concentrating on SS0, MS5, KOF 2003 and SvC.
Bottom line - even if a petition gets 10,000 signatures, if Playmore don't think releasing a game is gonna earn them enough cash, they aren't gonna do it. I think in this case, making another MotW *would* earn them money, so I'm sure we'll see another early next year (that's my guess anyway). I guess it also depends on whether the old SNK really did start work on MotW2 before they went under - if they did and Playmore still has the code lying around, I'm damn sure that they will want to finish it off and release it.

We really need another Garou. There's just too many unanswered questions and mysteries in some of the characters endings for me.

Damn true... for a start I wanna know what happens with the whole Rock/Terry/Kain thing... and we need to see Grant again (I'm sure seiryu will agree with that one). MotW/Fatal Fury have some of the best characters in any game, we really need to see them again.

maybe they are waiting for the characters to die down in kof.then they might put some fighters in kof from garou.

I doubt they'll do KoF characters... I think the main thing that they will do is to add some of the older FF characters - ie, Blue Mary, Mai, Andy etc etc, and also some totally new characters. I'm not sure if KoF characters would really fit in that well anyway...

ah right... well I sure as hell hope so, a lot of people have been wanting it for ages. I REALLY wanna see the MotW version of Terry, Grant and Freeman in there. Pretty much anyone from MotW would be cool in fact.

 Well... A really young Rock has appeared in 2k1 and 2k2 and Tizoc is in the one of the backgrounds in 2k2 so there you go. ;D

fatal fury is to popular to die down.thats what all my friends liked on neogeo the most.if it dead then that will be tragic.RIP fatal fury1994-1999.i think they put characters from ff and aof because they knew they would stop creating these games eventually.how comes i aint heard of a topic called"dont let aof die"?dont anyone like aof?
