Favourite Samurai Shodown Character

Hey.

I thought we needed a Samurai Shodown thread in here in general so this is just kind of an excuse fro making one. ;D

Anyway I'm kind of torn here between three:

-> Hanzo Hattori
-> Genjuro
-> Ukyo

-Haohmaru's kinda neat but I don't really like his attitude.

One thing though. It says that Ukyo was poisoned. It looks (by the way he is caoughing) that he has Tuberculosis (I think a common disease back then).

Well that's the start. I just wanted a thread to discuss this series. Hope you all don't mind.

Edit: After a couple fo weeks I finally realized I had switched the Hattori and the Hanzo. Too much Kill Bill. ;D Anyone ever notice the similarites in names?

If I'm honest it would have to be Haohmaru, but i like useing Gen-an on SS2 ;D

I would have to say Haohmaru - in a way he is one of the most generic characters in there, but for me he's one of the best, and I tend to use him more often than not. I have always had a soft spot for Gen-an, Cham-Cham, Ukyo and many others though... in fact I like pretty much the whole cast, apart from some of the really new characters in the last couple of games...

In theory I should hate that bitch Cham-Cham though - I know I've been going on about how happy I am that she's back in SS6 which is true, but to tell you the truth I think she is going to be the cause of more headaches and broken joypads for me than I have had since SS2. I *really* like her and all, but she is my arch-nemesis when I play it on a higher difficulty setting. I swear the next time the CPU does that eye scratch move with her my console will go out the window! ;D

I also swear that little bastard monkey of hers makes fun of me every time she beats me too... I swear it!!!!

edit: yeah I think you arer right, Ukyo's disease is TB iirc, but don't quote me on that.

Hanzo, Galford and Ukyo are my most played as characters.

most of teh mods here know my fave... KAFUIN GAIRA!!!! the man rocks.

but, evers since SS1, i've been an AMAKUSA fan, the original SNK Bretty Boy (move over Iori, Benimaru & Ash!!), he rulz in SS4 and SS1 (well, he's teh boss anyway...)

i play as haohmaru shock lol ukkyo is the coolest 8-)followed by kazuki i wish i could play better as him and jubei is the meanest >:(lol amakuza is a big girls blouse
