Recently read the latest press release on the SNK Playmore site - amongst the information about Garou and Last Blade, there's also a mention of collections, dragons and tigers. This is particularly interesting when explained - the Japanese name for Art of Fighting is, as i'm sure you're aware, 'Ryuuko no Ken' (Fist of the Dragon and Tiger). Could there be an Art of Fighting collection on the cards?

I believe this thread will answer your question: www.neo-geo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122915 On a different note, i noticed on gamefaqs.com that snkp is releasing an Orochi king of fighters collection and a Nest collection. In that thread it mentions that 95,96, & 97 will released in the Orochi collection but kof 98 isn't part of the Nest saga so what of kof 98 on the ps2? Also, what's the point of releasing 99,2k, & 2k1 in the same package when 2k & 2k1 are already on the ps2? wtf? why the fuck? Interesting indeed.

Aah, i see... i only usually visit company websites for information, so i'm a bit behind - i appreciate you taking the trouble to update me, Goemon-san.
As for the new collections, i'm not sure. Possibly the games have been reworked to be compatible with the new Neo-Geo online match service. Or, alternatively, SNK Playmore want the KOF games out there on shelves to catch the new fans of KOF 11 and NeoWave who want to play what they've missed.

Iggy from mmcafe posted a link mentioning WH is being ported to the ps2 as well: www.mmcafe.com/cgi-bin/forums/bbs/messages/11118.shtmlReally sweet news considering they will have online capability. I suppose that would be the only reason to but 2k & 2k1 agian. I've never tried playing a ps2 fighter online, i wonder if it's any smoother then kaillera.... probably not ;D

Thankyou, Kaz - 'tis appreciated! If you're interested, there's some news about the proposed 'Nakoruru and Terry Club' for Japanese children that i haven't seen posted on any fan sites (it is on the official SNK Playmore site, though). It's mentioned on the WAFP forum - a direct link to this is below... goushuujin.proboards18.com/index.cgi?board=news&action=display&thread=1115675612Seeing as the forum is pretty much deserted at the moment, feel free to use any of the article.
