Must be..concidering they are posted from an emulation site, also the site that´s the closest to the emulation of the newer games.

Yeah you can tell it is done from an emulator - they musta just used one of those programs to record from a window on your desktop... probably the reason why there is no sound in those vids. Still, it's nice to see some really good quality vids like that, and now the game is even more tempting!!!  Kaz |

Just played the game for a while, i only played the first 3 leveles but thats already enough for me 2 tell this is a damn fine game.
Though its not better than 1 & 3 off top its better than 4 imo, after ill finish it ill be able to say if i like it more than X. One thing i can say that i appreciate its back 2 mslug 1 with more of a fighting humans thing that i really love, it feels more like indiana jones than metal slug resident evil which i like

Thanks for the links Goemon, I REALY REALLY love the music in this game and if SNKP release a CD of it then I can say with 110% certainty that I will buy it!
I agree with what you said about the MS series, that's more or less how I feel. MS5 is a little short unfortunately, and it is only that that stops me from liking it more, As it stands I really enjoy it and think it is light years ahead of MS4 (which I thought was average), but only time will tell if I am still going to be playing it and enjoying it immensely, in the same way I do the others... even MS1.

well... i just finished the game, pretty short like people have been sayin. Though i totally dispised the last 2 bosses (lame, and the last boss didn't fit in the game at all, just rediculous) & there is a rabbid amout of rehashing goin on this is a GREAT game imo, not better than the classics of the past (other than mslug4 ;D) but definately my fav. game that's been developed by snkp yet besides kof2001.
