Your Fave Neo-Geo CD Game?

also dig 97' alot as well. Real Bout Special, WHP... ok there is alot of fighters i like on NGCD.

I've never really played on Neo CD's much, although I do actually have a few original games still lying around here (but no console to play them on now, lol), so I can't really mention many specific games. All I can say is that I am someone who enjoys the arranged soundtracks in CD games (unlike some), and that I love any Neo CD game that doesn't have loooooong load times. For that reason, I like playing some of the older games, as they do tend to load faster (KOF 94/94 to name a couple).

the arranged soundtracks are ace. especially the psuedo-classical pieces in the first real bout. would love to hear what the re-recorded scores to sam sho and last blade are like. or even the bit from mozart's requiem that becamse krauser's theme music.

I love my Neo-Geo CD. I cant afford an AES, but eh, its ok. the load times can be a hassle on some games, but I'm used to it, I usually play KoF 96-97 single matches to save time on loading which is ok. I need to get KoF 98-99 altho I do have the DC versions.

also getting SS2,RBFF,FF3 and Double Dragon soon on NGCD.

I had a Neo Geo CD and about 45 games, At one point I loved it and thought I would never get rid of it but as time went on i couldn't help feeling that i wasn't playing the games on the right format............I agree with everyone that the sound really was the best bit about the console (real good quality sterio sound) but those load times just killed me in the end, it's especially bad for those of us who like fighters because their load times were the worst!! Owning a Neo CD, was for me, a good way to get the chance to play lots of Neo games (never done emu) but alas the time came when I thought I'm gonna sell it and get AES.........I never looked back!!........One thing i didn't consider was MVS which works out cheaper but what the heck!!!!
