Hi there folks, Is there an anual meet up in the U.K. where a load of Neo nutters get together and play games and have mini competitions and stuff???If not, then why not? That would be great!!

We tried before and most people had to cancel in the end so I lost interest in trying to get one going again. You could have a look on the gatherings section of the forum at neo-geo.com though cos I think other people have tried to organise them. I wouldn't mind trying again... just means figuring out a place to do it, and persuading people to come  Kaz |

Kaz, I had a look at the neo forum and also your news archive.......I see what you mean there is a lot to think about when organising such an event..........how many tv screens can you get in one place?....how many neo's can you get in one place?.....how many people would come?....and where the hell would we do something like this?....the list goes on!!!.......................................................................................................If ever you were to try it again I would be well up for it........Mr.bobak and the boys(dont they look a shady bunch!!!) look like they had a good time on the persuit of neo geo nirvana!!!.......  .........................................................................P.S. really looking forward to seeing te new site!!!! will there be a section on all the SNK games on other platforms such as metal slug 3 on Xbox ect???...................................................................................................Neo Geo For Life Baby!!!...................  |

Inside the new reviews section I made there are listings for practically all other consoles as well as the Neo Geo, as I want to cram in as many reviews for as many systems as possible (but Neo Geo is still the main focus of course  . The only problem i have is that while I will be doing reviews of ports and other SNK related games, I can only do so many so I'll need other people to help with providing reviews too. Anything is appreciated, so if you or anyone else feels like contributing either full reviews or perhaps just mini reviews talking about how faithful a port to the PS2 or Xbox is, then that will help improve that section of the site Kaz |
