I have one of these on the way from Lik-sang, so expect a full review of it ASAP. After I've had a good playtest of it I'll more than likely have the review done at the same time as the new site going online... for those that haven't seen this stick yet, see here! Hopefully this thing turns out to be at least compareable in quality to the original Neo Geo sticks... I've used a fair few different sticks for home systems in my time and the classic Neo stick is still one of my personal faves. For some reason you just can't beat the feeling of playing SS2/KOF/MotW with one of these babies, so I'm really hoping for the PS2 version to be good, and I have quite a few PS2 games to test it on. Also wondering how well it will work when connected to a real Neo Geo using the classics convertor (for PS2 controllers --> Neo)... will be interesting... ;D Kaz

In relative terms I don't think it's all that expensive really... $70 = about £37 or something... considering I paid £25 for the crappy Nubytech KOF ltd edition stick that I had to take back I think the price is reasonable... then again us UK guys pay too much half the time Also if you plan on using the stick on a Neo as well with the convertor it's not too so bad cos you'd pay not far off that for an original Neo stick in good condition anyway. Just hopefully this stick is as solid as the original ones... it is made by Sega I think though isn't it? If so then it should be pretty solid. Kaz

Lik-sang and playasia charge about $40 for shipping which is what stops me from buying one.

Yeah I saw that one a while back... it's kinda cool but I'd much rather have the stick ;D. Didn't the pad come with the special edition of KOF 94 Rebout or something? Agreed about the shipping, but I imagine it is a pretty heavy item and air mail prices do suck unfortunately. I've paid through the nose in the past for certain things, I really have. Damn big packages of MVS carts from the US or HK have cost me an obscene amount Kaz

I got the stick this morning, and my God does it kick ass. It feels ever so slightly different to the original, but only in the fact that the stick is *SLIGHTLY* looser than some Neo sticks are (but then again, one of my own original Neo sticks is about as loose anyway), and the buttons have a VERY slightly different feel to them because there's a little more movement, but it certainly feels just as good as the original. Time will tell if these things last as long as the original, but it feels very high quality to me so I'm sure it will. Full review of the stick will be posted on the site when the new design goes up... that may have been delayed by a few days cos I've not really been able to get online properly cos I had to re-install windows XP again to totally cure the intermittent probs I've had just lately. It's all done now so I'll get the final few reviews fixed this weekend, and then check to make sure it's all working properly... then it will go online Nice sig btw buddha! Kaz

Not out over here unfortunately... only in Japan officially, so you'd have to order it online. You might find one at an import shop like Another World though, but if you were to get it from them, prepare to poay through the nose for it Welcome to the forums! Kaz

£70!!! thats a bit much Its a shame there isnt an adaptor of some sorts to let you plug your old neo stick into a ps2 or an xbox Ash, you say that your kof stick rocks!! How much was that and where did you get it from??...........also that x-arcade double stick thing that costs about £99, that looks a nice bit of kit........

It's £70 here Bastards! But my Nubytech KOF ltd edition is great If you mean the KOF 2001 stick, I bought one and had to take it straight back as none of the directions would work unless you pushed the stick with all your might . I traded it for the Nubytech Soul Calibur stick which is exactly the same, and that's not bad... just not anywhere near responsive enough for my personal tastes. www.snkplaymore.jp/official/kof94/neogeopad2/index.html Go there to look at the pad on the official site... as I mentioned above it comes with the Japanese version of KOF '94: Rebout, but only if you buy the limited edition pack Kaz

lame... i really fancy that pad. i've been wanting to try it ever since i saw it on that "bad influence" programme aeons ago when they said it was designed especially with the rediculously complex super moves from kof 94 in mind. but i really don't fancy getting what seems like a crudely enhanced version kof '94 (my least favourite kof game) which i need to mod my ps2 to play in the first place. i really hope snk release it on its own at some point in the near future.
