I'm no expert on cabs as I have always gone the supergun route due to a lack of space, but MVS boards are actually jamma anyway... the only difference if I remember right is that jamma has 3 buttons, whereas Neo Geo has an extra wire for the fourth button. If you want to play a standard jamma game in your cab you'd most likely be able to disconnect the jamma connector from the MVS board and plug it into your other game, I can't see why not. When it comes to the Capcom games though, although they will work you'll need to figure out a way to get the extra buttons working, as they usually use 6 buttons. Again, I have no real personal experience with this, so I can't help too much. Here's a couple of links that might help though: www.hardmvs.com - A must see site when it comes to MVS stuff, lots of great info here! www.neo-geo.com - their forum has a technical support section, and there's lots of knowledgable guys in there who could probably give you further advice that I can't. Hope that helps! Kaz

A lot of Jamma boards will work fine in a MVS cabinet. I have plugged in stuff like double dragon and they worked fine. Only thing you have to look out for is if the Jamma game requires -5V. It is also too much trouble to run a street fighter or mortal kombat board in a MVS cabinet. They have a seperate wire harness from the board usually called a kick harness for the extra buttons.
It is possible to wire it up to accomidate all of those boards. May be easier to start with a street fighter cabinet though.
I say just buy multiple cabinets if you have the room. You will be happier with the end result. They are cheap anyways. I have seen street fighter cabinets sell for as little as $50 at auction. Good luck...

If you want to run multible Jamma boards in a cab I would seriously consider buying one of these www.multigame.com/jamma.htmlFrom what I have been told { bye an operator friend } they are fantastic and definitly worth the price. Depending on what youre 2 slot is model wise ,make sure if its true Jamma or MVS ....Mvs uses a different pin for the sound output since Jamma is actually mono and the straight Neo boards are true stereo, ie made for japanese cabs The Jamma boards are all conversion boards for the american market since all of our cabs are generally Jamma and ops change boards often. Check here for youre model, www.hardmvs.com/html/PCBcompare.htmHere is a link that will show you the differences www.hardmvs.com/html/jamma.htmAll of this is pretty easy stuff to tackle
