i was wondering why i have never seen one of these. is it because they dont sell them? or is it because they never made them before.

link adaptor? for the neo geo? or for the ngpc?
There are about 1 or 2 games that had a link option for the neo geo. I think Thrash Rally may have been one, can't remember the others. IIRC, it was just a standard phono lead that you connected between the two systems via ports that were on the game cartridges themselves. I think that's right anyway...

What were the two prototype VS games?  ? And where can I find more info on them?

I know one of the prototype link games was a version of Kizuna Encounter that supported 4 players in link mode, not sure about the other one. You can probably find some more info in the Neo Geo FAQ (you'll find that on the misc page on the site), this prototype info page  Kaz
