I just went to play kof2003 today, i don't know what i saw but i got to the ending with three sacred treasures team. iori, kyo and chizuri. it appears ash wants to have the orochi zealing power to himself. cause ultimately he kills chizuri after, she and iori and kyo zeal the orochi. he(ash) tkes something out of chizuri like a coin, i think thats supposed to be her powers and he takes it for himself.
