My favorite snk caracter is Iroi.I dont really play good with him.I just like him cause he looks tight and so on.I play good with only these caracters: Ryo,Akuma,Evil Ryu.Thats it,not many good snk caracters id say.BTW,Im liking all yall smilies.There off the hook!  |

Why do I like SNK over Cap.? The lack of shotos. At least the ratio of shoto vs non shoto characters in a game.

i agree. snk have always seemed to me at least in general to be more daring with their characters. both in creating iori, vanessa, k' and duo lon who are fantastic, but also evolving them, both cosmetically and moves wise. that way neither games or characters get stale.
though, admittedly it does mean we get utterly pointless and wanky ones such as ramon, bao etc, as well a kyo that's no fun at all after kof '99. but, it still humps on changing ryu's hair colour once every ten years.
anyway i digress, as for favourite snk character mine's probably the much overlooked joe higashi. have loved him since the first fatul fury and its been great to watch him evolve and sadly actually begin to grow up over the years.

my opinion.
SNK > CAPCOM
why? well, its historical. . .
Samurai Showdown 2 > Super Street Fighter 2
i KNOW, SF2 IS a Classic. . . but during those times. . SamSho2 Looked. . . more interesting. . . plus, its violent too! (hehe, Die Mortal Kombat!) This made me a SNK follower since then
i know Kaz would agree. . right?
okok, back to topic, my fave. . . hmmm
ok, many, depends on game/series
KOF - Benimaru, Athena, Ash (as of lately)
FF/RB - Yamazaki
SamSho - Gaira, Amakusa
Others - Fio, *that kid from Cool Cool Toon*, Athena (the side scroller)
Pink one's are teh ghey onez. . . hehe bishies rulz!

my opinion. i know Kaz would agree. . right? Preach it brother, preach it Genjuro does rock... I've always played Haohmaru for some reason though, but in the grand scale of things, Genjuro is probably a more interesting character Kaz |

IMO, SNK is WAY better than Crapcom Capcom. Why? Because Capcom had a lack of "badassity" in its fighting games. I mean, think about it. Since when did Capcom have a badass character (And if I hear the name of even ONE shotoboy... ::takes out best friend "Mr.Stabby"::) SNK didn't just create fighting games, they created characters. Anyways, my fav is probably Shikyoh/Mukuro from Last Blade. He makes Yamazaki look civilized. The reason: Shikyoh knows how to drool properly.

Well mine should be a no brainer it has to be ukyo. Back when I played ukyo in samsho 1 he always seemed mysterious and his flying attack was devasting if timed right. His moves where stylish form the apple tossing to just the way he faced his opponent which was backwards. He seemed the coolest character from the series and still is.

I always loved to use Bust version GALFORDOO!!. I loved it that he was a lot more close combat then the regular version with poppy. One of the most regular yet coolest characters in my book has got to be Ralf from KOF. Don´t know why but the d00d is just plain hardcore. |

Snk has got much better Characters than Capcom, they've got more personality. I like Kim as much as I like Iori. Genjuro is on my list as third! |
