Speaking of Videos, it seems the SNKPlaymore site has been updated this week and last week with Videos of Kaede and Akari from Last Blade in Action. They've seem to be tweaked a bit from their original creations.
Akari's moves have been slightly changed from the game, but her style seems pretty much the same. Her special where the spirits stampede over the character seems to have changed; instead of her little spirits trotting over your opponent, SNK characters, like Todoh and Nicotine run over you instead. A new voice over was also given to her.
Kaede still plays as Kaede, although I thing his voice has lost some of that Charisma he used to have. Both characters retain the abilities of Last Blade with the Counter System. Interesting, it seems SNKP is giving each character their special abilties from their system (Maybe that's why I've heard so much about Just Defend in this game).

It's out now in Japanese arcades. Check the last few news posts on my site for some initital impressions of the game from people who have played it. Not at all positive so far.... from their comments it sounds like the graphics are right up there and the gameplay is nothing like weve played before remember this snk in name only ,i still feel the game will grow on people over time i think because it plays differently with characters we all know and play as its more of a shock when your character plays different to what you expect it to on the other hand i could be wrong and the game will be/ is a pile of pants lol ;D ;D |

I really wanna see it but at the same time i'm at work and don't really feel like signing up to s-c.com.
I wish snkp would finally finish adding videos for all the games playable characters with the game being out and all for fuck sake.
Of course the two characters i want to see the most (Tung and Robert) would be one of the last.

Thanks for the link dude, it shouldn't be any trouble we're not some widely viewed forums anyways ;D Finally some Tung footage  unfortunately the person playing only used one fucking move  . I love alot of the sprite pallets used for the characters and he Final boss along with his level looked really sweet. He has the Alucard vampiric sort of look which comes across pretty good. From the posts i've been reading over at neo-geo.com by beezlebubble it seems that alot of people are feeling that it's balanced atleast plus he seems to digging it now. (Alot of people thought SS5S was balanced as well though but to me...) Anyways i'm not gonna judge the game till i play it. |

Yeah posted about this on the site but didn't have time to mention it here earlier as I had to shoot off to work. Tung looks very cool, can't wait to give him a try in NGBC.
I heard Robert is VERY strong in this game!
