hav ya seen a vid with TungFuRue? i really wanna see how he ares  His showcase vid. isn't out yet, i'm looking forward to seeing it as well. Fuma's looked cool and all but it seems like their are so many projectile heavy characters i don't see how characters like Shermie are gonna fit in and still be balanced. The definately are gonna have to do more then just port her kof version. The Fluidity in this game seems odd imo from the videos. It even looks crazier then kof 2003 which i eventually didn't like. |

This kind of off topic (s0rry guys, go on with your conversation) but just wanted to voice an opinoin I feel that it was unnecessary to put both JIN CHONREI/CHONSHU in the same game. That's ROSTER SPACE!!!  You only need one of the twins. IF your going to use twins than put a pair ppl want!! Or highly interesting counterparts HANZO/GALFORD.(Best I can muster now) Well I'm sure you have a better idea who could of fit that ROSTER SPACE, but you get the idea. Just my .02 cents. If you agree post who you think should of fit that ROSTER SPOT |

The NBC Website has been updated (Finally!) with an addition to the system page and a video of MudMan. He looks like he plays similar to his World Heroes style with new moves. I like that special where he begins to play the bongos and the energy tosses his opponent from the air.

Every new video i see looks so damn good. The bg's aren't very nice but the gameplay and sprites seem amazing. I never played world heroes but mudman looks sweet from the moves i've seen.

Word! ;D Also, while it might be down to the lack of detail i the vid, is it me or does Haohmaru look a little different and *slightly* smoother than normal? Also, after seeing those slightly better quality vids from the AOU show that I posted on the site a while back, I have to say that the backgrounds look a little better than I thought. My main problem with them that has always been that while most of them look nice, they seem SO static with not much going on (like SVC backgrounds). After seeing those videos though, it's not quite as bad as I thought. Still, it's hard to truly appreciate the atmosphere the backgrounds gives until you actually play it... but personally I'm still yet to see any 3D/hi-res backgrounds in a 2D fighter that are as well done as the ones SNK made for KOF 99 Evo on the Dreamcast. I hope the forthcoming PS2 port of KOF 99 is the same as Evo, I really do... Kaz |

Haomaru looks like he's been given sort of a KOF make over or something. Really i can see slight differences in pretty much all the characters if not a big one.
