Not enough 2-D stuff is released over here in America, it's sad. People over here are total graphics-whores. You can partially blame Sony for that, they won't allow SNK and other companies to release all that many 2D games due to their stupid policy. But yeah, it isn't the only reason, so many peeople these days are too concerned with flashy graphics instead of gameplay. Not much we can do about that, apart from trying to educate people a little bit... not that they listen most of the time  Kaz |

www.awnet.jp/snk_nbc/servlet/exe/Index_pbottom right corner, theres a movie player that has a bunch of NGBC vids, including the intro and also some footage of both bosses in action (Mizuci/Orochi and King leo). Good stuff ;D Kaz

Man, King Lion and Muzuchi. They both look tough as hell. It seems that Orochi's sprite has been redone and that fade transparent effect on Lion King looks sick.
Also, on the Muzuchi video, Mr. Karate's Haohshoken had that "Garou" style burst after it made contact with Mizuchi. Visually, the backgrounds are lifeless, but it seems they've done well with the Old Style Neo Geo sprites.

Yeah it seems SNKP has jacked up the abilties of Mizuchi. While he isn't strong as King Lion, he sure as hell got cheap status upgrades, like health regenerator.
King Lion's music also goes well with his personality, it's very fast pace. He seems to be a speed/strength fighter, a deadly combination. Also, in his sword attacks, you can see a Lion in the swing effect.

It seems like this thing is never coming out for the ps2. I've seen enough vids. so far to know i'm probably gonna love it though.

The NeoGeo Battle Coliseum site has just been updated with Shin Shishioh's (King Lion) profile. He sure doesn't look friendly in his Portrait. I hope he's tougher than his Kizuna Encounter version. From the looks of the video, he looks pretty difficult.
Edit: I think what's making him angry in the portrait is the fact that SNKP messed up his hair cut. Boy, I wouldn't want to be in their shoes right now.
