Q & A/Q:
Why the fuck does NGBC look so good? SNKP kidnapped an actual sprite artist maybe?
Anyways, the Lee video looks fucking sweet. AOF came out before SF2 right? Seems Capcom definately dipped their hands in the SNK bowl if so.

Seems Capcom definately dipped their hands in the SNK bowl if so. AOF was a fair while after SF2, it was after Fatal Fury in fact. The story goes that Fatal Fury 1 and SF2 were in development at the same time, but SF2 got released first (if true then FF is not actually an SF clone like many say). AOF came out a good while after FF (1992). Kaz

Yes, the game seems to be shaping up quite well. Man, I can't wait to see King Lion, he looks crazier than ever!

I love SNK fighting games so much more than Capcom fighting games. Street Fighter bores me to no end. Darkstalkers is basically Street Fighter, with monsters, and it's VERY unbalanced. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is pretty good though.

I don't really like Capcom's 2d fighters ever since they've been re-releasing the same old BS. My only favorite 2d fighter from Capcom was Street Fighter 3. Anyway, back to the point, it seems the NeoGeo Battle Coliseum site has been updated, with a new video featuring Jin Conrei.

Orochi really couldn't be any cooler. One of my favorite characters.

Hey, don't you mean Mizuchi ? ;D
The NeoGamez video is alright, but I disliked the big watermark they decided to put in the middle of the screen. Right now I'm more impressed with NBC than Samurai Shodown: Tenka.
And who was that man in the suit after they defeated Mizuchi? Could Rugal possibly be behind the WAREZ scandal? Apparently, being in dream matches isn't enough for him.

I'm probably more excited for NGBC as well, I'm not sure why, but I am.

Wow... busy thread
Let's hope that this discussion will help show Playmore that releasing NGBC for home consoles will be a good idea (understatement!). A PS2 / Xbox version will be greatly appreciated!
The release of Mark of the Wolves on PS2 is a positive sign, even though it's only for Japan release let's hope for a UK release. Hopefully strong sales of KOTF, Metal Slug and Guilty Gear X2 will pave the way.

Not enough 2-D stuff is released over here in America, it's sad. People over here are total graphics-whores.
