The legendary Trash Rally ...ohh I mean Thrash Rally ;D
This game gets hosed constantly ...but in reality its a very playable and almost fun game ...well at least for 5 minutes or so....
Just dont try and compare it to Drift Out or even Over Top ... which I didnt think was all that either ... but what do I know ,I still play my Odyssey 2 and enjoy it ;D

I ALWAYS RECKONED, EVERY NEO GEO GAME WAS GREAT, THE BAD PART ABOUT THE GAMES IS THE YEAR OF MANUFACTURING, LOOK AT FATAL FURY 1, AND ALL THOSE GAMES CREATED IN THEIR ERA COMPARED TO KNOW THEY ARE JUST OFF.

Art of Fighting, World Heroes etc etc... they are all old games from that "era", and although they are dated now it was all part of the evolutionary process for SNK... so without those we wouldn't have the newer games. And for the record I still play World Heroes, Fatal Fury 1 etc etc... I guess you just needed to be around back in the day to appreciate them properly - and I've been into Neo stuff since more or less day one I'd say things for SNK really kicked into gear in 1993 with Samurai Shodown, and then SNK went from being a good developer into a spectacular one when they released Samurai Shodown 2 and KOF 94 ;D Kaz

I thought it was just horrible all around. I enjoy a quick game of Stakes Winner 2 now and then since its fairly unique to most US gamers, sort of an aquired taste I guess... Number one is about half the game two is ,so I pretty much agree with you on that one.

Yes mate, the first thing about Magician Lord that I didn't like was the music (very annoying, looped crap), it seemed to not compliment the gameplay which I soon realised also sucked-ass, I gave it my best shot though and tried to like it but nothin' doin'............. Havn't played Stakes 2, so i cant comment, but I will keep an open mind untill I do play it....managed to play Thrash Rally the other day and I can now see why some people refer to it as Trash Rally, that game was another big 'whoopsie!' , give me 'neo drift out' over that anyday
