news.spong.com/x?art=7521A couple of months ago, SNK Playmore already announced that it had signed an agreement with Ignition Entertainment to bring SNK games to the Europeeps. Metal Slug 3 was the first game to come forth out of this deal. This time KOF will hit our ps2 and xbox. The decision has been made to start things off with the 2000/2001 double pack. I don't know if this was the best choice that could have been made, but surely the price tag of 20 pounds has to tide a lot of people over. I sure hope it will do well, because it still seems that future European releases like KOF 2002/2003 and KOF:MI depend on its success.

This would have been good news for me since I live in Europe, but I own only a Neo Geo AES system.

Sweet - hopefully they will sell enough to make them feel it's worth releasing future titles. As you say though, KOF 2000/2001 are definitely not the best ones to persuade non-SNK fans to buy them, even if they are cheap. I just hope there are enough SNK fans over here and in Europe that want to buy them...
I'm sure KOF:MI will see a Euro release though, either way.
