Hope you all enjoy it as it took me a good few hours to finish, but it was worth it I think and I had great fun playing the game and writing it. Comments and constructive criticism welcome as always ;D The only part that is not finished is the character page, but the actual review and everything else is 100% done, although I might add some strategies to the mission mode page. I will finish off the character bios asap, as I should be getting translated stories soon as well as unlocking the last few "rigging model" costumes. Excellent review as usual  The english version should be avaliable here in a few weeks and i can't wait to play it. Anyways, i liked reading about all the characters as well and i'm looking forward to that page being completed. Learning about Duke is kinda disapointing, i don't see why snkp can't just try and tweak the bosses to be balanced in vs. mode. Btw, i can pretty much guess how most of the original characters translated into 3D except Seth, he's always been a decent character on the verge of being a great character imo. Are his moves alot different then kof2k? also do you think he's a solid character in this one? |

Thanks for the comments everyone Goemon: I've always thought of Seth as an OK character but never one that really excited me much, and I feel the same in this game. I've been playing as him for a while and figuring out some half decent combos though, but in all honesty I would have preferred to see Vanessa in this game... but if you liked Seth before you'd probably enjoy playing as him in MI. One thing though - from what I can gather Seth does have a little part to play in the main tournament in this game. Duke seems to know him when you reach him and he has something to do with Alba and Soiree too I think. I'll do some more checking up on this and will post it in the character section of the review when I know more. Kaz |

Thanks for the info, Seth isn't exactly one of my fav. characters but i'm glad he's in rather then some other kof characters. Anyways, i agree about Vanessa. Hopefully we'll see the return of atleast some of the kof 2k team in kof 2004.

I'm gonna update the review again soon when I get the chance to play the USA version (and I'll finish those profiles etc). I did hear however that the USA version has dubbed voices only and that they have not included a Japanese version. If this is true then all I can say is "oh dear"...  edit: omg word has it that it's not just win quotes etc that have been dubbed in English... the actual moves have been dubbed too. It should have some comedy value (lots actually), but way to fuck up the game SNK...  So glad I have the Japanese edition... Kaz |
