We'll I have been talking about my Taito Egret I just got from Arcade Infinity. First all seemed well my first cab very happy. Then I noticed some monitor statick which I hated. After a few days I got a great reply on how to fix it. So tonight I was all set but before I started I wanted to play a quick match of kof2k2. Well I start it up a horrible crackling sound and a jumbled pictures await me It seems that my 600 dollar investment has shit the bed after 1.5 weeks. Yay for me my extra summer money down the fucking toilet. I should have bought a fucking new one. God damn arcade infintty they were supposed to test this shit out.

Aww man... i know that hurts. So there's no way you can get a refund?
So much money just to get screwed over... makes me understand why alot of folks just stick to consoles.

No refund auction was as is I am pissed at my self for 600 more I could of had a brand new super neo 29. If I only knew that I would have got a ton for student loans. I didn't want to spend any more on arcade since I thought I would need it for tuition. O well now I am screwed

Oh man that sucks . You sure there is nothing that you can do about it though? Even though they may have said it was "sold as seen", I know over here in the UK at least there are laws protecting people when they buy goods, whether they are used or brand new. It might be an idea to check up on that, do you have a local advice bureau or something you can talk to? (where are you from btw?). Kaz

My feind came over and checked it out and he is pretty sure it is my power supply he siad it is burnt and a piece even fell off when he touched it. I will either by a new one from happ or this 8liner one I saw on ebay. They are only 30 bucks so no big deal. It does suck that Arcade Infinity didn't check this stuff out. They say good condition and this is definetly not good. Kaz

I hope you manage to get it sorted out man... good luck! Kaz ps I'd still be pissed at Arcade Infinity though, and if you can't get it fixed, then I highly suggest trying to do something about it... I really don't know what the laws in your state are, but surely there must be some that protect consumers if they buy faulty goods like there are here in the UK? Definitely worth checking up on for future reference!
