I feel kinda funny for asking this cause i'm pretty damn sure it's impossible but is there any way to turn off the strikers in this game using Unibios or the soft dip settings?
It's been such a long time since i played the game so i don't remember much but i think i would have liked it better then kof2k1-2k2 if the strikers wheren't in it.

i dont have uni bios but i know some people who do...i dont think you can turn off the strikers only because that was one of the things the game sold for "wacky strikers" but again im not really sure...

Well i actually like the way the players introduced in 2000 play/control more then they did in 2001 now and i don't care for any of the new characters of 2k1-2k2 so i use vanessa, seth, ect. without having to play 2k1-2k2. I hate strikers though.

I'm starting to not mind the strikers so much, it is neat to see some cameo's. The more i play this kof i'm starting to love it, alot. Reminds me of how much nicer neo fighters where, back in the day

Reminds me of how much nicer neo fighters where, back in the day Yeah, I gotta say that even KOF 200 which was the most rushed and probably worst KOF that the old SNK did was still a far more classy game than either of the Eolith efforts (imho anyway). KOF 2003 is far better though I think... I really dunno if everyone would agreed with that though ^_^ Kaz

2000 has some of the best artwork though. Plus to me it was the last game that really felt like a kof even though I like 2k3 a lot.

Agreed, after playing for a while now i'd have to say it has the best artwork and i like music and backrounds better then kof 2003 honestly. I still really like kof 2003 but as of late i think i'm starting to like 2000 alot more.

The artwork is definitely some of the best, and 2000 had the same musical style that SNK had started in KOF 99, which I liked a lot personally. 2003 (and 2002 to some extent) went back to a more old-school style of music and while 2002 was mediocre in places and good in others, I really do like 2003's music a hell of a lot... just a shame we'll probably never hear an arranged version 99/2000 (particularly '99) have my fave KOF music overall, in fact 99 is one of my personal favourite SNK soundtracks period. Kaz Agreed, kof 99 was produced the best when it comes to backrounds, music, and it did have some damn nice artwork. What really decides a kof for me is mostly the character selection/quality cause that's what really brings in the replay value. Though kof 99 had such sweet music and bg's i like 2k more for it's new and extremely fun to play as characters. Also, i feel if i gotta use strikers, all the neat cameo's in kof 2k are the way to go
