Hehe, nice. No offense ds but i think Goenitz could possibly be one of the worst fighting game bosses of all time. (After the whole SF boss line up though  ) Every time i play him i feel disgusted in his raw cheapness. |

Goenitz looks pretty cool, I just hate the way he plays and the CPU's cheapness in KOF '96. He's too limited anyway imho.

Okay, people who dont like Goenitz because of his cheapness are people who spend 3 nights trying to beat him without success.  All I want to say is, that I like Goenitz, because his Style is cool and his looks too and he is a Character who brings meaning to a Story if you know what i mean!  He IS cheap, but thats no reason to "not like" him. Although it is really funny that Orochi was way weaker in ´97. |

I found SVC Chaos was Okay, I felt it was a mixed bag to be honest. It did look like it was rushed though. The characters available did surprised me a little, I mean I knew that there would be Kyo, Iori, Ryu, Ken etc, but I never expected Mr Karate instead of Rugal, Demitri instead of Morrigan, Genjuro instead of Hoahmaru, and a host of other characters that were barely used like Shiki and Tebassa. Heck, Zero and Hugo took me by surprise too! However when playing the game there would be times where I would be really pissed off and times when I was on a roll eg Playing against Goenitz on the "Station Absolete" stage I dont wanna even wanna play, playing against Goenitz on the Elevator Stage I wanna keep on playing. I hope Im making sense. |

 I don't like playing against Goenitz either. I do like Orochi more than goenitz however, for playing as too but no one online has the hacked P rom but me, so I can't show off my Orochi skillz. (He's just begging for a genocide cutter, what with his standard kick and all) I really appreciated it that SNK threw in some unusual characters. they threw in the ones they were obligated too, IE: Ryu, Bison etc. I wouldn't have wanted SVC chaos to have all characters from CVS anyway. Also, the MVS couldn't have had the char. roster of CVS2, so it would have gotten negative comments "CVS2 has all these chars. and more, why play this?" besides, everyone likes Genjuro more than Haohmaru. |

I don't think the gameplay is very imbalanced, as long as you don't use the boss characters I've been told that the SNK characters are too underpowered in CvS 2 but they actually seem a bit too underpowered in SvC imo. I've actually never played CvS 2, are the SNK characters more balanced in that game? I'm also kinda curious if anybody thinks it's a better game cause i'm thinkin about trying it. |

Although I like a good many things in SVC and I actually prefer Capcom characters in the SNK style then SNK characters in the Capcom style, CVS2 is probably a better game overall. It also has its faults, but overall there is a lot more to it than SVC, and probably has more replay value. Hopefully SVC2 (if it happens) will eclipse it though. Atomiswave would certainly give them the opportunity to do that.
Back to Goenitz again... I don't hate him cos I can't beat him. I hate hm cos I take no fun at all in playing against him... it's just so boring. As Raiken said it's just "KOKODESUKA! KOKODESUKA! KOKODESUKA! KOKODESUKA! KOKODESUKA! KOKODESUKA! KOKODESUKA! KOKODESUKA!" and it gets old fast...

I just read about the Xbox release on Ign.com and atleast it's gonna have net play and RBG color config for all the characters like CvS 2. Though i know it won't happen, if they would have made all new 3d backrounds for the game on Xbox.... my goodness, i'd surely get the game. |

*ehem geonitz:guile. i like svc but just as like u guys said the game is unbalanced. ive also notice that evil ken is taller than ryu and orginal ken.

my ava+sig says it all,... KASUMI ROCKS! ;D i best around 15 differnt pple, who use Iori,O.Iori, Ken, Ryu, Guile, and even some tough Geese'ers... hahah,i have found my forte char in SVC  ... i never really liked SVC, but now, i stopped palying 2k3, and went back in the SVC cabs |

I dont like this game at all...from when it first came out i thought it was total crap straight away...it got broken within a few hours lol
The sprites looked dodged and the sound effects were horrible...the game just didnt feel right to me
But for the sake of it - when i did play it i was always ryu or ken
