I'd have to say kyo is my fighter of choice but I do also like K' a lot as well.
Kyo has gone through a lot of change over the years, now that he has those hcb + k moves that are good for combo linking and poking i'd say that he doesn't need anymore tweaking for a good while.

its hard to pick one to be honest but i picked kyo since in 1994 he was a real breath of fresh air in fighting games.
what i like most about the kof heroes is that they're not you're typical do-godder or one dimentional ryu types. i mean kyo always struck me as a foul mouthed rebellious schoolboy who likes bunking off lessons to get into fights. k' is just a moody sod who's stuck in a situation he has no hope of getting out of but is too arrogant to ever admit it. whereas ash seems to be a bit of a machiavelli-type character. in other words, they're all people who are a little fucked-up and arn't really fussed about saving the world or whatever, but invariably end up doing so as if by accident.
also am i the only one who's seen battle royale (the first one not the terrible sequel) and thought that the characters and rivalry between kawada and kiriyama bears more than a passing resembmance to that of kyo and iroi respectively?

My thoughts exactly. Anyways, fuck Ryu & Guile ;D hahaha jeebus... neway i don't like kyo cuz once he starts a combo it's unstoppable. and as iv k he is ridiculously overpowered... so ima hafta go w ash... he is a back 2 basics kinda guy... more fighting no fancy shmancy stuff, i don't dig that hair broach he's wearing, geez it's so blech, could have done w/o |
