I have been searching for and Neo Geo game that i played in 1991 or 1992. If i remember right, you could chose between 4 characters and one of them was a wizard. It was a platform game. At some level you went throgh a churchyard and there was lightning in the sky. I remember those who were verry good at it droping a coin i the slot and played the game to the end. Is there anyone who knows the name of the game? This has been bothering me for years. Please help  |

No it couldn't be that since there's only one guy in Magician Lord. Dunno what it might be though.

There are 4 characters but you only get them when you pick something up or something like that.
I remember seeing magicians lord on gamesmaster all those years ago.

Was it 4 player simoultaneous? "cause then it wasn't neo, and is probably "Dungeons and Dragons" for CPS2
I played that game around that time I think, and it was a platformer with a wizard

Also thought about D&D first, but a Neo? You could post a Screenshot of Magician Lord, so that inimitable can see if it is that Game or not.

It's not an dungeons and dragons game. The graphics was shown strait from the side and not slightly above as on D&D.
I don't think is't magican lord, but I cant tell for sure. As I havn't tested it.
I thought it was a very hard game. So I didn't want to spend a fortune playing it. But it was a game that you definetly could learn to master and become very good at.
I only have wage memorys of the game... so these details may be wrong.
I think it came up some kind of menu above the screen graphics, when you picked up things.
And i think one item gave you like hovering balls around you.
I'm pretty sure that it was a neo-geo game. I have looked around a lot for this game on the internet, but newer found it. Maybe it was a very rare game, or something like that.

No it's not Magician Lord. But it's reminds to a small degre of that game. This game I saw in the begining of the 90th's had much better graphics and was a lot cooler. I will probably not find that game this year either, I'm afraid.  |

It's not a Neo-Geo game, but the game really sounds like Cadash to me. Great game.
edit - or, if not that, it _could_ be Magic Sword, although that game only lets you pick from two different main characters (but you can get different sidekicks, including a wizard and a priest who does a 'spinning ball' attack).
