Like I heard KOF Maximum Impact is only gona be released on tha PS2 is this true

+ Does anyone know when thier official release date is?

I think at the moment it is PS2 only, and it is out in a month or two as far as I know.

damn that vid rocks espeacialy k' and iori. i like k's new outfit and one thing that i didnt see is iori's maiden smasher.

i dont know how you guys can say all those great things about it....

To me the animation looks ok, but is a bit mechanical compared to games like tekken 5 (kof MI's competition i might add) also the graphics look average, and they do look alot like sfex3

Also this will most likely suffer the same problems as the sfex series : bad gameplay

The third dimension offers many new possibilities...but this also means that snkplymre also must create a new system(the style for which they are known) that works with a 3D game..they can't use a kof system that works fine in 2D, but stinks in 3D (this is what happened to sfex1-3)

previews and testers say it plays just like a 2D KOF, and then some... so i have high hopes in this one

I view it as a totally seperate entity to Tekken, I wouldn't really class them as similar fighters just cos they are both 3D. To tell the truth, I was bashing this game a few months ago and I had no hopes for it at all, but over time I've started to look forward to it more and more because of the good stuff I've seen in it and because it looks far better than I thought it would (at least graphically anyway). People that played it at E3 also said that it played fairly well but was a little slow at the time, but judging from the latest videos it doesn't look slow to me now.

Anyways, I guess I'm just trying to say that although I'm usually against 3D versions of 2D games, I am looking forward to this one, and there are rare exceptions that actually turn out well; hopefully this is one of them... and from the looks of things so far it might just be
