I've spent the last couple of days over at Gamespot.com, it seems to me that Greg Kavasin (Executive editor for those who dont know the guy) is one hell of a neo fan. Not only him but some others aswell, and here I always thought that just about every big website and magazine on games dislike or just never wanted to play neo games. Greg is always squeezing something in about the neo here and there, and after seeing his video tribute way back, this guy knows games and the site has some of the best reviews. I just wanted to make note of that..........plus, go to gamespot for all your non-neo reviews, they are badass. The most informative and unbias (next to this site ofcourse .

lol... actually I'd have to agree though, they are a great site. I said as much when I made my post on the site about the SNK history article that was on there a while back. Not just for the Neo coverage, but also for next gen stuff. Kaz

I find that though Gamespot certianly doesn't get news as quick as IGN i do agree with their reviews more. They seem to give overall scores based more on gameplay then prettyness and i dig that.

Yep they pretty much suck on news. I'd say its the slowest. So I subscribe to a magazine to keep in the know, but for reviews and overall interesting stuff I go over to G-spot.

I don't bother subscribing to magazines anymore since I can find info on just about anything I need somewhere on the net.

i h8 big time gaming site/mags... they profit from countless "next-gen gaming" ads Not all do I subscribe to pczone magazine and they have about 1 flash advert on the frontpage every few months so it doesn't really get in the way. Unfortunately it is a shared website with about 3/4 other magazines that use the same site but with different frontpages and content. The forum on there is attacked daily by dumb nintendo 'kids' who post pointless threads on the wrong forum. makes me glad to be a high level member

I remember when IGN was a nice site years ago, but then all of a sudden they added all the ads and popups, not to mention annoying links all over the place during reviews... and I'm sure the quality of content on there has dropped. I can respect that they can't do it all for free and they have to make money somehow, but I just think that GS has much better coverage of all things these days.
I also don't buy magazines anymore... well, apart from Edge as they actually have some good articles from time to time (like the Neo and retrogaming ones).
