K... Sad to say i got teh romz like i'm sure most of you have by now. What do you think of the game? Though the gameplay isn't as slow and precise as SS4 imo but it's about as good imo in its own way. The gameplay is alot faster with alot more moves then in previous which i really enjoy and it seems to be balanced so far with the exception of maybe Hanzo (weak) & Yoshitora (still to strong) imo. Honestly i liked the bg choices in even SS5 better but i love the new character colors. (black hanzo... ) All together the gameplay and character sprites make some of the very poor new bgs not even matter. I could imagine a ps2/xbox release with an arranged soundtrack and redone 3d bgs... that would definately one of the finest if not the finest SS game ever. (though it will never happen

Hello all. Now about subject. 1) Very good game, IMHO in plan of gameplay best at least after SS2. All game sides seems much more balanced then in previous parts. And have good set of playable characters and they are differs from each other a lot. 2) Only after kill Mizuki there must be something greater, reward for finishing game is not so good. And intro is not good too. 3) Zetsumi Ougi looks pretty good. Best for me looks Shizamaru's. 4)To Throwen: about Yunfei - as long as I know he was one of overpowered characters in SS5, top tier, just like Yoshitora. 5) To Goemon: what is so bad with Hanzo, for me he don't looks much weaker then in SS5, just lost one of his numerous teleports and 3C kick is now weaker, but low AB slash now looks stronger and in SS5 he was overpowered a little. About Yoshitora, as I can see, all his overpowered moves from SS5 (jump AB, 236+B, 623+A) now looks weaker, so he now only has good set of specials and good close standing AB slash what can be canseled in his specials, super or even Zetsumi Ougi.

The more i've played it i've noticed Hanzo is just fine but though Yoshitora has been toned down his moves are still way too good. Now that i've pretty much gotten the game down very well and the hype is over i think that SS4 is overall a better quality game though.

1) Goemon, interesting about Yoshitora, what for you makes him overpowered in SS5S? 2) About Yunfei to make my last post more clear: he was overpowered in SS5 because in this game he can do up to 4 his air moves and can hop from walls (in SS5S his flying options limited to 3 air moves and no wall hop). Even in SS5S his flying moves give him large possibilities to attack opponent and to evade his attacks. But in SS5 he can fly very long and use "cheap" tactic - to fly almost all time and win by time. Now when his flying moves are limited Yunfei is still strong, but his air moves are hard to master. 3) And his command throw make enemy POW meter empty, and charge his qcf+AB move so if he use qcf+AB move and opponent blocked he can do dash, again his command throw, and when again qcf+AB, make opponent take damage from qcf+AB or die slowly from block damage. 4) Maybe SS4 is more qualiy game overall, but in gameplay SS5S looks better for me. In SS4 I don't like guard destroyer move (it looks overpowered for me what you can follow it by combo of your choise) and CD-combos. And in SS5S there are more characters and characters have more moves, and Genki gauge with evade moves make gameplay more complex.

www.samurai-zero.jp/special/index.html nice big pic of chara. select screen- www.samurai-zero.jp/special/chara.html This makes me quite pleased, i was hoping so much for the new artwork to be posted on the net but i didn't think it would really happen. I guess this shows how serious they are about the project. Ohh yeah, check out these pics of some new levels and moves. So unexpectedly nice they instantly made my sex fall out ;D www.samurai-zero.jp/special/toku.htmlOn a side note, who would have guessed they'd take this level and make it bad ass- Now thats how you do a rehash, seems they've actually figured out that people like appealing things added to rehashed levels and not taken out Btw, best artwork of Haohmaru ever.... I hate boats especially amongst sea water. SSV was like a kick in the teeth not a pleasant smile but a vulgar present. Special proved upon nothing but a great character screen gone and a representation on debugless injuns. SS4 was this series in a tight nutshell-bust them alters. NeoGeo battle coliseum atmoswave watch out capcoms fighting jam is hot-whom can stand the 2-d realm? I hate coin-op feuds - Rock Howard rules and no ken masters in capcom fighting jam pray tell he's a secret character! The Sammy machine is too expensive please allow one last game for the neo geo that is all cartridge. Wrong crowd and no understanding between FF vs sf, origin over perfection.
