maybe i'll just stick to an emulated version... Probably the best plan for the time being, although the price for MVS carts drops substantially (and I really do mean a LOT) in a short space of time. The only thing that worries me is that not many SSV Special MVS carts were made so the price might not drop down as much as other games have done, and they may be in demand if the home cart version doesn't get all its fatalities restored 100%. Only time will tell though I guess. Kaz

Woot! I found lots of new video's here- www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?s=a4e09b5bd45800ffddef6d950fc0023d&showtopic=8408 (9 i believe) The 8 really good ones are on the 4th post of the 1st page by [S4]The Phantom. Wether you saw the others or not, everyone should really check these out. They showcase a few new levels plus modified ones from SS5 along with alot of the really new sweet sprite colors for some characters (all black hanzo with metal/silver trimmed armor ) and lots of new moves/animations. They appear to be from the mvs version considering the first one (rimu vs. rimu) contains a finishing move. Anyways the gameplay looks really good and decently balanced from what i can see. (though i always thought SS4 was balanced just fine) The boss characters still seem pretty strong but toned down almost enough. Wow some great vids there and judging from them the game looks REALLY great. Now I'm starting to once again get psyched up for it!!! ;D Kaz

[/IMG]
Yeah but if the previous news is still correct, they are putting some of the fatalities back in, but not the ones where an opponents body is cut in half - meaning a lot of the overkill fatalities will probably get butchered. That might be why there is a delay with them fixing it, cos they are busy re-doing the fatalities to less gory ones... I really do hope not, but I guess we'll see when the Neostore releases a statement Kaz

I still hope that the fatalities won't be changed, but that remains to be seen. It's still nice to know that SNKP is doing something about the SSVS censorship (and possibly correcting other issues as well). Does anyone know if you can use the debug bios to get the original fatalities in the AES version of SSVS? You can use the debug bios to run any AES game in the MVS developer mode...

Nope, but Razoola was looking for a way to do it using the Uni bios if you have one of those in your MVS/AES. He might ditch that idea if SNKP are taking back carts though. On a seperate note, anyone looking for some samples of the arranged music from the PS2 version of SS0 should check this thread kazuyauk.proboards16.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1091231687I managed to rip a few myself, this time directly and not with a mic... It appears that Razoola over at neo-geo.com has an aes cart of SS5 now and is currently working on unlocking the fatalities for aes via Unibios. (and from the last few posts i've read it appears he has done just that) Yay for all the aes owning people...

True, but it doesn't look likely now. And besides, if they did do one they'd probably end up censoring/modifying the fatalities anyway, so it wouldn't really matter anymore Kaz

I hate late burnings but compare PS2 WITH AN AWKWARD SSV CARTRIDGE especially now special is about. Now their is no significant apparel the fighting system is all to put and what can be the again trade mark why bother PS2 Its done nothing too you neo geo!
Forget CV&G review of Kof 2002 I treat as playmore treated snk vs capcom chaos its a poor replica. The cartridge struggle is not the money but what did you expect. Gone are the days of last blade! i KNOW WE ALL WANT THE LIFE FOREVER but the CDZ was too slow ps1 sf collection was more appealing. Garou: Mark of the Wolves - ©SNK 1999 and sega saturn rule radiant silvergun but are great for neo geo titles!
Retro rules but be aware what you buy!
