Hmph. Taking customers seriously from now is kinda pointless on the last game for the neo. Too little too fucking late is all I've got to say.

www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,1-1130646,00.html Just in case anyone wonders what the incident was that prompted the fatality removal. That incident was horiffic, but I still think it is a wrong decision to remove them. Again it is all down to political correctness - surely it would have been better to lock them out and then hand out a code later to unlock them or something. Also, if they are worried about kids playing this game, I don't know too many 12 year olds who can afford a home cart costing $368 to be honest... Regardless of the fatality thing, the bugs in the game are still pretty unacceptable, and although they are fixing that bug in Japan (people can return carts) there is still no word about overseas customers. They really need to put out some kind of statement for the rest of us asap imho. Kaz

the nagasaki incident was just sad... so remember, never bully others... or they might kill you, with a box cutter!

I dont think the kid was even bullied. Just felt like stabbin' sad as it is. Anyway I hope the fatalities are on the PS2 version because I've already pre-ordered it and knowing that there is a version elsewhere in which I can decapitate Nakoruru would make me want to smash. Guess I'll find out soon.

don't know whether this is old news but playmore are recalling some of the aes carts to be fixed....whether this is for the sound issues or fatalities not being there,i'm not sure? hullcityfcmad I mentioned it above Just to fix sound issues as far as I know, and so far the recall is Japan only. However a *possibly* great piece of news was posted at the Neo Store: Hopefully they do sort it out... if they do then it shows that they actually do care, although then again we all know they will stand to lose sales if they don't do something about it. I've seen a lot of people who planned to buy it saying that they have decided not to unless the fatality issue gets sorted out. edit: on another note, you guys do realise SNKP fixing carts will send collectors crazy and create some really high priced SSVS carts? Die hard collectors will scramble to get hold of the unfixed versions so that their collection is "complete", and will buy both a fixed version and the original unmodified version. If all the stock gets sent back to be fixed and most people send their carts back in, then there won't be very many of the original versions left, which will make their price go sky high. I think it's dumb to get both versions no matter how hardcore a collector you are, but whatever makes you happy I guess Kaz

Right now I'm glad that I didn't choose to buy SSVS a while back. Hopefully SNKP will do something about this problem and keep it's loyal fans happy.

I totally agree, I wouldn't buy it as is. It does look like SNKP are gonna do a recall now btw (in Japan at least, and hopefully overseas too), but apparently they are re-instating the overkill fatalities (the unique ones) but they are still not going to put the old style deaths in... you know, the ones where you split your opponent in half. Sounds pretty dumb really, if anything the unique overkill moves are far worse. Hopefully this isn't true and what I read was just a mis-translation Kaz

They're so fucking crazy Honestly though, it's sorta funny when you think about how they're spending all that time to edit the game to disapoint their customers that they could be spending to maybe create new characters for kof neo wave or anything that would actually be constructive and bring profit. Such madness.

Woot! I found lots of new video's here- www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?s=a4e09b5bd45800ffddef6d950fc0023d&showtopic=8408 (9 i believe) The 8 really good ones are on the 4th post of the 1st page by [S4]The Phantom. Wether you saw the others or not, everyone should really check these out. They showcase a few new levels plus modified ones from SS5 along with alot of the really new sweet sprite colors for some characters (all black hanzo with metal/silver trimmed armor ) and lots of new moves/animations. They appear to be from the mvs version considering the first one (rimu vs. rimu) contains a finishing move. Anyways the gameplay looks really good and decently balanced from what i can see. (though i always thought SS4 was balanced just fine) The boss characters still seem pretty strong but toned down almost enough.

Might be worth trying Cosmic Co in HK too as they are really good and usually cheaper than anyone, but it will still be expensive even from there to be honest. Goemon: gonna go check those vids in a bit, thanks man! ;D Kaz Kaz
